Someone decided to give their dog, Suzie, away to her domestic worker in an irresponsible move. This person ended up not being able to afford to care for the dog and left her neglected. When they heard Sidewalk Specials was in town, they called them up to hand her over.
The seven-year-old dog was dehydrated and as skinny as could be. Her eye needed to be removed, and she suffered from Ehrlichia. The malnourished girl was cleaned up and put on a treatment plan to await a surgery for her eye after she’s strong and healthy enough.
To gift away your dog to an unknown future is such a sad and cruel thing to do.
All vet bills will be covered by Sidewalk Specials. When ready, Suzie will be put up for adoption.
