A curious and protective Doberman went face to face with a wolf and engaged in a staring contest before eventually losing. The two looked into each other’s eyes and locked in on each other, but Lana the dog was the first to budge and then walk away from the staredown.
The owners of the dog told Rumble: “We visited the Wolf Research Center. It is allowed to bring your own dog since the wolves are behind a fence. We brought along our Doberman, Lana and our Miniature Pinscher, Ezio.”
While we’re sure a lot of the staring had to do with each one standing their ground and feeling the need to protect their territories, it’s interesting to wonder if the two could sense their similarities and common ancestry. After all, they’re both very intelligent animals!
