Officer And K9 Suffer Head-On Collision From Suspect In Police Chase

A K9 police dog named Boris and his human partner are expected to make full recoveries after a suspect hit the K9 officer’s car on purpose, police say. It’s believed the suspect was hitting speeds of about 67-mph on side streets at the time of impact. Update: Justin Venegas, 40, is the man named and charged with attempted murder after leading Las Vegas cops on a wild police crash. During the chase, Venegas tried multiple times to carjack people, and gunfire broke out between him and police officers. The chase finally came to an end as Venegas rammed a cop car head-on at almost 70-mph. The officer suffered a concussion, and the dog was not injured.
