Fonda was found sleeping in an empty lot out in the cold, and upon a closer look, rescuers saw she had a tumor on her tongue. The dog had lived a life of loyalty but was left with nothing after her owner passed away, and here she was trying to fend for herself. She was very friendly and allowed everyone to pet her, so she was very cooperative! Fonda would have to undergo an operation, but her quality of life would improve dramatically. There’d be no more sleeping on the streets in pain! 🙂
