A stray puppy lay unable to move in a dirty puddle filled with trash. No one knows how long she was there, but a passerby saw her and posted a photo to Facebook. Kannan Animal Welfare was alerted to the post and immediately set out for rescue.
Jeevith was rushed to the hospital where she was put on an IV for about two hours. One of her eyes had been eaten away at by maggots, and her overall condition was just so deplorable. But even with all of her issues and problems, you could tell she’s a very pretty girl. 🙂
The dog got a little stronger and a little healthier with each passing day all while making tremendous progress in physical therapy. After all of the neglect and abuse she dealt with, it would have been easy to give up. But Jeevith kept fighting, and she was rewarded with a second chance at life in a loving forever home!
