While driving along a highway in North Carolina, one couple saw a suitcase on the side of the road that appeared to be moving. The good samaritans stopped to investigate, and that’s when they saw a nose sticking out of an unzipped corner of the luggage…
Inside the suitcase were four puppies. They couldn’t believe it. The couple immediately drove them over to Guilford County Animal Services, and the staff there was also taken aback and shocked at the discovery.
The puppies, all female, seemed hesitant to trust anyone. But that’s to be expected at such young ages and after everything they’d just gone through. Slowly but surely, they’ve started coming out of their shells…
The rescue staff named them (appropriately) Tumi, Samsonite, Stowaway, and Carion, and the puppies are undergoing medical examinations and being socialized. When ready, they’ll be put up for adoption. The dogs will have all new lives thanks to some selfless, keen-eyed samaritans! 🙂
