An Alabama fishing crew with Sill Flyin Charters was out in the Gulf of Mexico when they spotted a little animal out in the ocean all alone and struggling to stay afloat. It turned out to be a cat.
“Our catch of the day. Poor little guy was sucked out by the tide,” they said on their Facebook page. “We caught him just outside the pass in the gulf. He was struggling to stay up.”
The group was able to scoop the kitten up and bring him aboard saving his life.
The cat meowed and meowed as they worked to bring him to safety, and once they got him onto the boat, they dried him off and helped to comfort him until they could get back to shore.
“We caught him, brought him in the boat, and let him recover,” they continued on the post. Later, they were able to find the cat a new home! 🙂
