When Brenna Eckert first adopted and brought Joule home, she realized the dog had a lot of anxiety. They worked with a dog behaviorist to help with some of her issues, but she still gets separation anxiety when left home alone. But when Brenna adopted an orange tabby named Kelvin, little did she know the cat would be able to help Joule.
Brenna wouldn’t have even known if not for the security cameras she set up around the house. When she watched the footage one day, she couldn’t believe it; the cat hopped up onto the couch with the anxious dog to comfort him, and they proceeded to snuggle together until Mom got home!
Kelvin and Joule only snuggle with each other when no one else is around. The only exception to this is if Brenna lies down on the couch, then they both join in. Otherwise, they do their own thing.

But when the owners are away at work?
“This happens literally every weekday for the full 8 hours we’re gone,” Brenna told The Dodo.
Amazing! You gotta love it. 🙂
