Winter is quickly approaching, and homeless animals everywhere are looking for ways to escape the cold and stay warm. That’s why a bus station in Brazil decided to do something about it and allow strays inside to stay safe.
Employees at the Barreirinha bus terminal in the city of Curitiba opened their doors and provided beds and blankets to some dogs in the area who needed a place to stay. They named them Max, Pitoco and Zoinho. 🙂
Fabiane Rosa, a local politician, saw the pups all snuggled up and gave the bus station praise for their selfless act to help dogs in need. She posted these heartwarming photos to Facebook where they quickly went viral!
Fabiane had this to say on Facebook (as translated from Portuguese): “Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be. So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them.”
An act of kindness like this can go a long way. It didn’t take a whole lot of effort, and these dogs sure do appreciate it! Hopefully this catches on and more places of business start doing the same. 🙂
