A shelter took in a stray dog only to find out later that she was pregnant. Autumn ended up giving birth to 14 puppies just shortly after being rescued. Knowing she faced euthanasia, they contacted the no-kill Morongo Basin Humane Society and asked if they could take the dog and her pups.
They not only took them in, but found forever homes for Autumn and all of the puppies! Autumn is such a survivor, and after spending months as a stray, she could finally live the life of a normal dog. Thanks to this tough mama and the shelter staff and Humane Society, 14 pups would also get second chances at life! 🙂
