The Humane Society International rescued Millie from a dog meat farm in South Korea. When rescuer Nara spotted her, she knew she had to get her to the vet immediately. When she picked the dog up, Millie felt as light as air and looked like an “alien.” 🙁
Once Millie made her recovery, she was sent to the United States to the Humane Society’s emergency shelter to await her adoption. And it was here that she met Dave, a volunteer who worked at the shelter. As soon as he saw her, he knew he had to have her in his life. After moving into her new home, Mille was able to reunite with her rescuer, Nara, via video chat. 🙂
