Forrest seemed to want nothing to do with people. He was surrendered by someone in a group of 30 other dogs and just couldn’t seem to find his footing in this new environment. He was nervous and scared and hid in the back of his crate. And on walks, he preferred to sit in the bushes. His foster mom would have to try to discover what makes him tick.
Angela thought to herself, if Forrest was surrendered with so many other dogs, maybe he needed them to feel comfortable. So she brought out her other dogs, and that’s when it all clicked. A confidence seemed to fill Forrest — it’s like he was a totally different dog! She knew she’d have to find the perfect forever home for him, and we think she did just that. 😉
