Workers Show Up One Morning To A Taped-Up Tote And See It Moving

Workers showed up to the Pell City Animal Control Center in Alabama one morning to see a plastic tote closed shut with duct tape. As they approached the container, they could see it moving. When a worker opened it and looked inside, she saw four dehydrated pups staring up at her.

The puppies ended up checking out okay despite being trapped in the plastic bin with no food or water and no air circulation. The Pell City Animal Control Center took to Facebook to try to get to the bottom of this abandonment.

“Thankfully a staff member found them when they arrived or it could have been a very bad situation for these little guys,” they wrote.

“If you know these puppies or their owners, please contact the Center at 205-814-1567, we really need to speak to them!” they continued.

At least the puppies are now in good hands as this investigation shakes out.
