Rusty spent a total of 800 days in different shelters wondering if he’d ever be loved. He’d go to a rescue where they’d say he didn’t play well with others and even foster homes before being returned, and this happened over and over. But Lisa from Pearl’s Place wanted to bring the dog in with a clean slate!
She knew how he acted in a shelter was not indicative of who he really is, so she had to give him a chance. And with something to prove and a chip on his shoulder, Rusty showed that he was the sweetest dog! He didn’t know how to be a pet, but that would come in time. Finally, the perfect family fell in love with Rusty, and now he’s living the best life as Zuko! 🙂
