Humane Society International raided a dog meat farm on South Korea’s famous Jindo Island after finding the owner in violation of the Animal Protection Act. They would close it down and rescue all 60+ dogs, and instead of the man setting up business elsewhere, the farmer would sign a contract with LIFE to give up dog farming forever and agree to remove dog meat from the menu at his restaurant.
These poor dogs never knew freedom, but today their gates are opened. It’s a second chance at life for all of them, and it’s all thanks to the Humane Society of the United States and all of their supporters!
