A dog with nowhere else to go was found sleeping on the hard concrete ground at Eerste River SAPS. They fed and sheltered him the best they could but were concerned about his safety. So they contacted Sidewalk Specials to see if they could rehome him.
They would get the good boy over to Vet Point for a checkup and the care needed, and then work on finding him a foster. Westley’s life was starting to look up for the first time in a long time — maybe ever.
Fast forward to now, all safe and sound; Westley got a second chance at life, and he’s taking full advantage! He has his own bed, his own ball, a tiny human friend, and a furry friend! This just goes to show what’s possible when we work together. 🙂
