Baby Moose Ejected From Its Mother In Car Accident Dubbed ‘Miracle Moose’

A collision on Quebec highway resulted in what they are calling the “Miracle Moose,” and you’re about to see why.

The car hit a moose, killing her but ejecting her yet unborn calf onto the pavement. The baby was found under the vehicle and still in the gestational sac.

Witnesses covered it in a blanket, and the local zoo was called in to came to pick up the newborn.

Somehow, the baby had survived and would go on to be perfectly fine after being expelled from the wound.

Driving the car was a man with his two children. “The car was wrecked but the occupants were not injured,” Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Jean Tremblay told the Montreal Gazette.

A miracle moose indeed.
