A white, fluffy gentle giant was abandoned outside of Wanderers’ Rest Humane Society. The dog was tied to a sled along with a note that read, “Over 10 yrs old. Can no longer walk.” Thankfully, an employee spotted him right away and called reinforcements…
The dog was taken to a vet where they performed a thorough examination, and it turned out the dog couldn’t walk for one very simple and avoidable reason; The matted fur on his body made it far too painful to move around. After a haircut and physical therapy, he started walking on his own once again! This good boy will never be neglected again, and it’s a beautiful thing. 🙂
