Roxy’s owner no longer wanted her, so he gave her away to some local kids. These kids didn’t know the best way to care for the dog, so she fell ill and wasn’t doing too well with them. Sidewalk Specials was contacted, and they came to the rescue!
And when these rescuers gave Roxy her first actual meal in who knows how long, she seemed to forget all of her table manners! She was checked out at Vet Point and diagnosed with malnutrition and tick bite fever and put on a treatment plan. Soon, the girl’s forever mom would come knocking! 😉
