“Imagine being treated so badly, you trusted no one.” This line from the latest rescue video by Hope For Paws really sets the tone for what’s to come. A tiny dog who’d been living on the streets by herself was so scared, she wouldn’t let anyone near. After many failed rescue attempts, Hope For Paws was called.
Rescuers arrived and decided the best way to capture the dog would be with a trap. But the stray was even too smart for that. Time was running out, and everyone was running out of ideas. A quick alternative was needed to save this dog from the busy road she called home.
“I don’t like doing what I am about to do, but it was the only way.”
If you blink, you’ll miss it. Eldad was left with no choice but to go for it. He knew the few seconds of anxiety would be worth the lifetime of happiness. He grabbed Opal, and after an extremely stressful moment, they rushed her to the car to keep her safe.
Now to begin earning her trust and for the healing to begin. The process will take time, but it’ll certainly be worth it in the end.
