The Animal Rescue and Response team of the Humane Society of the United States arrived to a property in Gaston County, North Carolina, to deal with an alleged dogfighting operation. The dogs were living outdoors with heavy chains around their necks with injuries and scars as a reminder of their pasts.
But despite everything they’ve endured, every dog was so excited when rescuers kneeled down and replaced those large chains with leashes! It’s as if they knew they were going on to better lives. And thanks to the Humane Society and their supporters, that is the case! 🙂
