In Kenya, the Mobile Veterinary Unit set out to help a giraffe in need. Somehow, the animal got a tire stuck around her neck. No matter what she tried, she just couldn’t get it off. The rescuers would have to get creative and come up with a way to free her from this burden…
They got the idea to use rope to help loosen the tire, and they would also have to sedate the giraffe to keep her calm. And this did the trick! But the job was not over with yet… Rescuers stayed until she came back to and assisted with getting her back to her feet and off into the wild! 🙂
