Enzo Viola, a Golden Retriever born with a genetic mutation that left him with a black spot of fur over the left side of his face, lives with the Castros in Texas. The dog has become a bit of an internet celebrity because of his unique look racking up over 188k followers on Instagram!
His human sister, 15-year-old Clarissa Castro, told Daily Star, “Enzo has a genetic mutation, his black splotch!”
This mutation doesn’t affect Enzo at all, it’s just cosmetic. And the family says it’s not just the cute marking that made them fall in love with the dog noting that he is also the sweetest and friendliest pooch!
Enzo is full of energy and requires two walks a day, and one of his favorite hobbies is playing fetch in the backyard! The Golden Retriever is also a creature of habit preferring to follow his strict routine of waking up, eating breakfast, and going on walks all at the same times each and every day. His family wouldn’t change anything about him or trade him for the world! 🙂
