An elephant became trapped in a dam and finally freed himself using his trunk, but the current kept pushing him back in. Bystanders felt helpless as they watched, but then he wrapped his trunk around a plant and broke out once more. Now, he was moving up the canal but still needed a place to get out…
Rescuers were now in position to help! They would create a makeshift ladder and direct the elephant over to it. The elephant noticed it and did his best to pull himself and step up… And before long, he was back on solid ground! Around seven hours later, life was back to normal. 🙂
