Dog ears can become dirty and infected without proper cleaning. But one man found a simple yet effective way to clear out the gunk that builds up in his dog’s ears. As instructed per his vet, he pours a solution of apple vinegar and distilled water (mixed in equal parts) into the ear canal before using a cotton ball to clean it out.
The dog shudders at the feeling of the solution being poured into the ear but quickly settles in. Dad gently pushes the cotton ball in and closes the ear flap and massages it around for a bit. When he pulls it back out, it’s covered in gunk — a great sign it’s working!
Just remember to always check with your own veterinarian before attempting anything like this with your dog.
