Scary situations seem to bring out the best in people, and what these guys do will restore your faith in humanity. With all of the bad going on in the world, it’s nice to see uplifting moments like this where someone is so selfless as to risk it all to save another. And that “other” here just happened to be a dog.
The dog was spotted struggling in the water near a small waterfall, and these men jumped in without hesitation. It’s unknown exactly how the dog fell in, but it was obvious he wouldn’t last in there much longer. The brave men formed a chain to try and reach the dog as he swam back toward the waterfall, but the poor thing kept being washed away by the current.
But they refused to give up. And finally, the hard work paid off. The man was able to grab the dog by the front paw and pull him up to safety. Cheering then erupted from a small crowd that gathered hoping to see a miracle take place, and that’s exactly what happened. What a rescue!
These men risked their lives, and this dog is alive today because of them. They didn’t do it for the fame or a pat on the back, but we’re certainly glad it was caught on camera for all to see.
