Getting dogs to “play dead” may be one of the oldest tricks in the book, but Sam the German Shepherd has added a little flair to it with her version! Honestly, she should probably be nominated for an Oscar for this performance. 😉
“Do you want a treat, Sam?” Dad asks to start it off. The smart German Shepherd knows what’s coming and gets ready. Then Dad says “bang!” and the dog digs deep to put on the most dramatic performance possible. Sam takes it a step further than most dogs! 😀
The dog lets out a yelp before spinning around and then finally hitting the floor. The dramatic act is finished off by Sam rolling onto her back and sticking her feet straight up into the air. Very impressive!
