Animal Aid Unlimited arrived on scene to an emergency situation in which a dog had been hit by a car rupturing her eye. The poor girl was in immense pain and needed immediate attention, so they quickly got her back to the hospital.
A neighbor promised to watch over her puppies while she was away healing. By the time the rescuers and Mama got back to Animal Aid, the dog’s condition had worsened. They stabilized her with I.V. fluids to prevent her from going into shock.
The dog’s hip was dislocated, and they prepped her for surgery to remove her eye. It would take several weeks of rest and love for this sweet girl to return to normal. And when she did, she had some puppies to get back to. Just look at Betty and her family now! 🙂
